The Tokyo administration has shattered its decades long pacifist stance and built a massive maritime denial network capable of paralyzing the Chinese navy. The range of the upgraded Type 12 missiles exceeds 1,000 kilometers, directly threatening strategic ports along China’s eastern coast from Kyushu and the southwestern islands.
